Moonlight & Pretzels
Like a dance with the devil in the pale moonlight, except with more pretzels.
50 freshly baked pretzels were thrown into a monster, 12 malt chocolate and biscuit loaded mash. Handmade maltose caramel was then chucked in the boil, with Simcoe and Magnum. Fermented on a GABS amount of lactose and then left to naturally clarify over two weeks. Finally, kosher salt was added to give a big mouthfeel and savoury finish.
The result is a big, chewy, caramel explosion with a bitter roasty note that balances the intense sweetness and a mouth filling salt character to leave it finish just dry enough so you want another one.
