Morning Glory - Chai Latte Stout

Drawing inspiration from a bygone era of Brisbane beer, when brew mates hung out and talked drivel, to contrive something unique and tasty, Dan was keen on the intricate meld of winter spices showcased over a sweet stout base. Layering chocolate, oats and caramel malts, balanced with some lactose, the base is thick and oozing with milk chocolate and coffee flavours. Overtop went vanilla, cinnamon, clove, cardamom, star anise and nutmeg, for an insanely intricate array of warming, sweet, dry and tantalising spices.

Milk chocolate, coffee and vanilla, with a hint of cinnamon and liquorice flood the senses straight up. The experience transitions through an epic journey of warming spices, a touch of nutmeg and chocolate, with some sweet herbal notes and finishes with just a suggestion of cardamom and clove. The overall impression is that of comfort, a good book by the fire or a month of Fridays at a mates brewery making spice tinctures.
