
Das Boot - Foeder Aged Festbier
Combining old Marzenbier processing with new Festbier ingredients we’ve collided Oktoberfest heritage in a dissonance inducing foeder aged Festbier. Super pale Pilsner malt, hopped with nobels Hallertau and Saaz, fermented with classic Munich yeast, was aged in our spanking new Foeder for two months. A relatively safe approach to season our Foeder, we’ve also imparted some gorgeous texture and spiced vanillin architecture in this pale lager.
Sweet, bready malts with deep, floral hop notes, floods the aroma. A full, malt-sweet body, with saline mid-palate leads to a crunchy, dry finish. Moorish and smashable, yet loaded with flavour and subtlety, time to celebrate!
