Neon Demon - Muscovado, Cinnamon & Tangerine BBA Imperial Stout

A chocolate malt focused imperial stout, made with rye, oats, wheat and barely, was aged 12 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Bergamot peel and cinnamon sticks were infused in clean alcohol, and added along with muscovado. A super rich and complex aroma offers layers of dark sugar, chocolate, cinnamon, orange zest, floral notes, coconut, vanilla and dark fruits.

The mouthfeel is full and coating, with molasses, dark fruits, citrus and chocolate flavours. Decidedly decadent, this “sometimes food” imperial stout pushes the boundaries of adjunct pairings to harness complexity in context. Made for Carwyn Cellars 2026 Black Box.
