This is my better half’s old fella and brother, with some rando named Jake. They’re killer builders, who specialise in renovating old Queenslanders, you can check out their gear at @a1_restumping. They’ve been good enough to whack these schmick booths together for us. These guys will make some more private spaces in the brewpub, so you can talk about how much we all really just love Pilsners, knowing no-one will overhear. We really wanted the pub to be an expression of us and all the things we love. Having family add their bent to the vibe of this place is what it’s all about, in my opinion. There’ll be a few little features like this, that we’ve focused on to spruce the place up a bit. For the rest, you’ll need to come say gday next Saturday the 1st April. No joke. All that's left other than assembling 24 tables, 100 chairs and brewing enough beers to satiate you thirsty demons is to put together a crack team of kitchen superstars, dedicated to making good food to drink beer to. Much like our beer, we're all about fresh, flavourful, and fun food, pulling on plenty of Asian flavours and influences, but delivering something uniquely ours. Working Title has been unapologetic in it's pursuit of flavour thus far, and the kitchen will be no exception! Fearless b̵e̵e̵r̵ food. It's what we're all about. With a range of positions available from 20-30 hours per week, it’s an amazing opportunity to learn while surrounding yourself with folk that don’t take themselves too seriously. It’s preferable but not essential to have; ✅ experience in a fast paced kitchen, over multiple sections, ✅ half decent knife skills, ✅ a deep seated desire to burn things ✅ experience with a range of cooking styles, and a penchant for salted caramel pretzel pastry stouts If you’re keen to get stuck in, have some massive days, working side by side with a team of passionate legends, and want to be part of a tight knitted team of good humans, then send a message our way.
